Aims

Swiss Slackline pursues the following objectives, which are described in the statutes:

• Recognition of Slacklining as an independent sport
• Organization and monitoring of a national contest scene
• Issue of generally mandatory regulations, recommendations, rules, notices and warnings
• Organization and supervision of the training of sports instructors
• Minimize security risks in practicing the sport
• Registration and analysis of incidents, near misses and accidents involving slacklines
• Maintenance and promotion of cohesion and exchange of experiences amongst the member-associations, as well as the coordination & support of their actions
• Support of local groups of interest when founding an association
• Representation of the interests to the outside (e.g. authorities, slackline organizations at home and abroad, (inter)national organizations)
• Communications and Public Relations
