Aims
Swiss Slackline pursues the following objectives, which are described in the statutes:
- Recognition of Slacklining as an independent sport
- Organization and monitoring of a national contest scene
- Issue of generally mandatory regulations, recommendations, rules, notices and warnings
- Organization and supervision of the training of sports instructors
- Minimize security risks in practicing the sport
- Registration and analysis of incidents, near misses and accidents involving slacklines
- Maintenance and promotion of cohesion and exchange of experiences amongst the member-associations, as well as the coordination & support of their actions
- Support of local groups of interest when founding an association
- Representation of the interests to the outside (e.g. authorities, slackline organizations at home and abroad, (inter)national organizations)
- Communications and Public Relations
